CEAFA is organising, together with the Association of Relatives of Alzheimer's Patients of Ibiza and Formentera as host, the 11th edition of the National Alzheimer's Congress and the 15th Ibero-American Alzheimer's Congress.
The Congress will represent a unique opportunity to break down geographical barriers and unite two continents separated by an ocean but which share the same problem and aspire to find answers that will improve the quality of life of people affected by dementia in general and Alzheimer's in particular.
Under the slogan ‘BREAKING BARRIERS’, the Congress will become a hub of knowledge and exchange in which family members, volunteers and professionals will have the opportunity to share knowledge and experiences with their counterparts from around the world. It will be a CEAFA and AIB Congress, in which the main international organisations related to this issue will also participate: Alzheimer Europe and ADI - Alzheimer's Disease International. The aim is to create a meeting point to generate useful knowledge both for the work that the Associations (and other social and health resources) carry out in support of people with dementia, and to reinforce the political action of the representative bodies involved in the Congress.
