The once humble 'espardenyes' were once again the undisputed stars on Saturday night at the Adlib catwalk, held at the Ibiza Fairgrounds in front of some 1,500 people, and the versatility and comfort of what was originally a poor man's shoe has crossed borders and conquered even royal wardrobes.
