Ibiza will host the first edition of the Gourmet Fair on September 22 and 23, a gastronomic meeting that will be held at the Ibiza Fairgrounds (FECOEV) in tandem with the 16th Beer Fair.

The public will be able to visit the fair, sponsored by the Consell Insular d'Eivissa and Ibiza Travel, from 7:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. during both days. This event will have the presence of local media and magazines specialized in gastronomy at a national level such as Elle Gourmet, Tapas or ASM Magazine.

To date, there are already fifteen local restaurants and businesses that have decided to participate in this event with local flavor that seeks to generate synergies between the local restaurant sector and demonstrate the culinary richness of the island and all its municipalities out of season. In recent years, gastronomic tourism has increased exponentially in Ibiza thanks to traditional cuisine with a Mediterranean flavor that has captivated the palates of visitors, but also thanks to the proposals of some of the best international chefs who conquer diners from all over the world. world. The latest addition to the I Ibiza Gourmet Fair has been La Cava, located in Vara de Rey and belonging to Grupo Mambo, which joins the list of participants in which the emblematic Ibizan cuisine restaurant Ca n'Alfredo stands out. , who will perform a showcooking at the opening ceremony. Next to it, the Trattoria del Mar will display the unmistakable flavor of Neapolitan cuisine, while Argentine gastronomy will be represented by Can Mario. The innovative Latin-Mediterranean fusion with its own identity from Ficus Food Lab will stand out alongside the fusion sushi cuisine with South American touches from Aya Huma Food Truck.
