Tickets for the musical ‘The Lion's Legacy’ and for the orchestral experience ‘Aurum’ are now on sale

The Consell de Ibiza has announced that tickets are now on sale for the experiential orchestra show ‘Aurum’, which will be on the 7th of March at 9 pm at the Ibiza Fairgrounds, as well as the musical ‘The Lion's Legacy’ on the 8th and 9th of March at 6.30 pm also at the Recinto Ferial de Ibiza.

Tickets can be purchased on the Consell de Ibiza website (https://conselleivissa.escenaonline.com/) for these performances for children, teenagers and families at a price of 8 euros for children and 12 euros for adults.

The councillor of Youth of the Consell de Ibiza, Marilina Ribas, stressed that this year's novelty is a pedagogical pass with the performers of ‘Aurum’ so that high school students can experience it first hand, ‘allowing young people not only to enjoy the performance but also to offer them a direct interaction with an orchestra and a choir of young professional musicians. In this way, seven schools and almost 600 pupils will take part in this educational event, which will take place on the morning of 7 March.

For his part, the director of the Orquesta de Cámara Sonora, Bartomeu Tur, explained that ‘Aurum’ is a project for young people, organised and carried out for young people. ‘We are very excited to be able to do it with this pedagogical edition, too, and that the students of Ibiza's schools can enjoy an experience like this, because it is something you don't see,’ said Tur. He also explained that ‘Aurum’ is a show that features ‘thirty young, professional musicians playing on a stage and with all the experience involved in the concert itself, and which has not yet come to Ibiza on such a large scale’.

Finally, the councillor Marilina Ribas has detailed how the shows of ‘The Legacy of the Lion’ will be: we continue to promote children's shows and this year we have the musical ‘The Legacy of the Lion’, a musical for the whole family. It is for children, but they are musicals to be experienced with the whole family and there will be two shows, 8 and 9 March, to facilitate access for everyone, with times that are easier for the youngest members of the family to attend’.
